Cannot right-click unattached parts in VAB/SPH

Description
Subject title pretty much sums up what is wrong, but i guess if steps to reproduce are really that hard...
1. Open vehicle editor of your choice, VAB or SPH.
2. a pre-existing vessel, or build a new one, doesn't matter
3. Either take a part off that ship, and leave it off to the side(i.e, NOT deleting it), or grab one from the menu
4. try to right-click to open the context menu, nothing will happen
It's frustrating trying to compare stats of things sometimes when i have to constantly replace parts to see what values they have, so i hope this wasn't another one of those pointless, intentional changes that have been made recently

The ability always has been available, i'm doing it right now in 1.0.5. Why would this be classified as an enhancement, its much more of an annoyance than anything.

After some post-1.0 update I was surprised, that I cannot R-click on unattached parts in VAB.
It was available in earlier game versions.

It is still true that ghost parts in the editor cannot be right-clicked in 1.1.3. But maybe "give me back my right clicks" should be a feedback, and not a bug report.
