Bug #28065
Pulling first part out of symmetry breaks game

Description

If you put parts on in symmetry, then pull the first one out of symmetry to delete it, the game breaks. You can't launch ships, or create new ones let alone edit the existing ship. The photos show my initial ship where I pulled a couple engines out of a six unit symmetry because they would burn my wings on the lower half. This broke the game. In the video link above, I demonstrate with a very simple construction that the bug can be replicated easily.

Something else worth mentioning: the part that you deleting from symmetry must have at least one child part. If you just delete one part - nothing happens. And the part doesn't need to be the original part (the one that you place yourself).

You don't even need to launch the craft. Just take any part that has at least one child attached to it, delete that part from symmetry, save the craft and open it again. Boom, game broken.

Out of sheer interest decided to check if this bug existed in prior versions. And I'll be damned, it sure does. This is not a new bug, it's present in 1.10.1 version of the game.
