Suppose you had a plane with aerobrakes mounted on the top and bottom. You don't want the aerobrakes to deploy when you are applying brakes on the ground, as that would cause the bottom one to deploy and scrape against the ground.
Intuitively, you would try to remove the aerobrakes from the "brake" action group. However, this currently has no effect. The aerobrakes will STILL deploy when applying brakes, no matter what you do.
Current workaround is to hold on brakes before touchdown, and then manually right click on the aerobrake that you don't want to be deployed and retract it.
