Description

Been using what was called in the old launcher "fake full screen" under the advanced options.

The new launcher removed this.

There never was an equivalent option in the KSP settings.

Please return some kind of windowed borderless option. Preferably one that updates while tabbed to another window.

Yeah. That's definitely a problem I found out as well.

The only counter I know of is this if you want KSP to run in steam:

  1. Create a shortcut of the executable (KSP_x64.exe) within the main KSP folder.
  2. Change the shortcut's name to something other than the name of the executable (like KSP_x64_Steam) (this is just a precaution)
  3. Add the following line to the Launch Options (as per the screenshot) but using your path not mine: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\KSP_x64_Steam" Command -popupwindow
NOTE: Percentage signs need to be on either side of Command (they are getting removed for some reason once I post the entry)

This will let -popupwindow through to the KSP executable and should run KSP in a stable manner. If you don't use the shortcut some mods fail to work correctly like TweakScale.

The unfortunately side effect of this is that the Launcher will be bypassed completely regardless of if you want to see it or not.
