Description

If you set an alarm to transfer from a bigger orbit to a smaller orbit, the result is wrong.

Steps:

1) Create an alarm for Kerbin -> Eve transfer window
2) Warp to next...you will end up with Kerbin 54 deg ahead of Eve, but the proper window is when Eve is 54 deg behind Kerbin
3) Now do it backwards, set an alarm from Eve -> Kerbin, even though you are starting from Kerbin
4) Now see that it takes you to Eve being 54 deg behind Kerbin

I suspect you made a mistake writing the description. As it stands it's impossible to follow what you meant since the thing you call 'correct' and the thing you call 'incorrect' paint the same picture to me.

"Kerbin 54 deg ahead of Eve"
"Eve is 54 deg behind Kerbin"

You basically replaced:
K = E + 54
with
E = K - 54
which is algebraically identical.

Chances are you meant to either swap the order in the statement or swap the word "ahead" for "behind", but not both. Doing both double-inverts it back to where it started.

Edit: Setting a Kerbin to Eve alarm will put Kerbin 54 degrees behind eve, instead of ahead of eve.

This bug has relatively easy reproduction steps. Set an alarm for a Kerbin -> Eve transfer, change to a craft, warp forward a few days and plan another Kerbin -> Eve transfer. The dates aren't even close to lining up. It's not internally consistent. I'm not sure how it's arriving at values in the descending direction

When you go from lower orbit to higher orbit (like Kerbin -> Dres), it always works. Also when you set it to go from Eve -> Kerbin, but you are on kerbin, it puts you at the correct time for the Kerbin -> Eve transfer.

This is a duplicate bug report to #28071. Anyone who wants to upvote this issue should upvote that one instead to (maybe) get higher priority.
