Could say is a nice way to show how important the official BugTracker is, when users start to report bugs with add-ons.
However bug-fixing expectations may well not be fulfilled if add-ons authors are not notified some way (a few may well read these issues, but most won't: they generally state with the add-on thread opening post on KSP forum how to report issues with them. FreeThinker likes to have reports on the KSPIE Support thread at https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/172026-172161151145131-ksp-interstellar-extended-12111-support-thread/).
What is certain with the official bugtracker, all issues are read and evaluated by someone with Squad (doesn't mean there will be an answer however, for a bunch of reasons including non-disclosure earlier than proper of anything in actual development). The development team is tasked with fixes and improvements for the stock game, though a few developers also have a number of add-ons on their belt to maintain. It can't really be expected that Squad or any of the developers takes responsibility to fix bugs with third-party add-ons.
