Description

This has happened twice for me now. When I upgrade KSP (via a patcher from the website) to a new version that adds new menus and text, the localization file does not seem to get patched and all new strings of text simply display autoLOC#. I suspect that for some reason the patcher has not been updating the localization file, because if I download a new copy of KSP as a zip file, and copy over the localization file, it fixes the issue.

Minor update. The file I have to manually replace is dictionary.cfg in GameData\Squad\Localization

Couldnt replicate, tried upgrading the base game (1.7.1) alone, with each one of the DLCs installed and with both installed prior to run the patch and the result was correct on all of the cases, could you provide more data regarding the problem, like, what patch are you using? is there an specific menu or part of the game where you get the autolocs?

This past time around, it was the popup in the main menu listing all of the new features. The previous time it happened (can't remember when), it was all sorts of stuff, including part descriptions.

Try patching ksp 1.6.1 to 1.7.1 using a patcher downloaded from the store.

I was able to replicate the issue with 1.6.1, new upgrade patch files have been added to the downloads server.
