Description
My game crashed right after smashing into Mun!
The error.txt generated by the Unity debugger claims this was by an access violation (which sounds like a fancy word for segfault)
I've attached a zip of the generated folder as it was requested I pass it along to the developers.

Not sure if this is related, but I'm also getting an access violation. No mods loaded. Weird part is, 0.23 has been working great until today. It's now crashed about 10 times. The only change I made today was to enable terrain scatter. After the second crash, I turned it back off, but the crashes continue. It seems to occur when loading a new scene (switching to VAB, Tracking Center, etc)

Steve.Cleveland:
That is not related to this issue, and seems to be yet another duplicate of #1997.

Cosine: I think I've heard of this bug somewhere before, might be a Kraken, but I'm not sure because of the dump. As such, I'm hesitant to change the status away from New for right now.
It looks like the game properly detected the lack of a ship after landing (you might want to mention it was a landing, not smashing), ... wait
Are you sure that you crashed into the Mun? What I can put together from the log is that you landed on the Mun, and the vessel (the command pod) vanished somehow, but there isn't any logged damage.

I am positive I crashed into the Mun.
I remember I was going way too fast, as I had taken too long to get out of time warp.
I was doing the normal panic routines trying to save my venture, but it for naught.
We could say I "landed" in that my velocity was zero at the end.
