Description

What Happens:
As the screenshot below shows, KSP fails catch the IOException thrown by Windows when the user tries to save a ship where said ship's name contains a question mark. As a result, the ship/subassembly fails to save to file without alerting the user.

How to Reproduce:
  1. Open a new ship or load a previously saved ship
  2. In the field for that ship's name, enter any string containing at least one question mark character
  3. Press the save button
QuestionMarkTest.png (550 KB) QuestionMarkTest.png The other files in the screenshot show that KSP catches all illegal filename characters with the exception of the question mark character. ethall, 11/14/2013 07:15 AM
