Kerbal Space Program

I was de orbiting a ship in ksp 1.1.3 with approximately 30-40 parts when I landed it and pressed recover the game crashed and I had to re open the game, so the game loaded and I clicked on play game then load game but my two save games were not there. So then I made a new save game with the name the Martian (which was the name of one of my previous save games) and the game asked me if I wanted to overwrite another game with the name the Martian. So I clicked no and made a sandbox world named default and put a ship in orbit and saved the game and left to main menu. Where I clicked load game but there were still no savegames to load. I have restarted the computer many times but nothing has improved
