Description

The challenge and fun with science labs lies, in my opinion, in bringing this heavy part to its destination, and in bringing science experiments to it. The juggling with data that you have to perform afterward is rather unpleasant, for 2 reasons:
  1. The "review data"* interface is badly implemented: say you stored 50 experiments, and the first 3 suffice to fill the lab's 750 data, there is no way (that I know of) to close the review popup, and you have to click 47 (!) times "keep data" to finally get rid of it
  2. While reviewing experiments, it is not easy to top-off data: if you have 700/750 data and need 50 more to optimize research speed, you will struggle finding that one experiment that gives you 50 (or harder: a combination of several totalling 50).

Point #2 was actually made worse by KSP 1.1, because now you don't directly see the data an experiment amounts for anymore, but the science it would give you after processing. You can see the data value by hovering of course, but when reviewing 50 experiments, little difficulties add up

Now for a constructive view: aside from making a completely different interface (showing a table for example), I see an easy way to fix both points: remove the data cap (750) completely; keep the research speed proportional to data if you want, and cap it to what-you-get-today-when-you-have-750; and have science experiments automatically converted to data as soon as they are stored.

*by the way the name should be "review experiments", because in this state I think it adds to the confusion science/data
