EVA kerbol crashes through Mun

Description
I've had this trouble for a while. Kerbol EVA on the mun and walks about for a minute and then poof... Dead. I'm on normal speed and helmet is on. To me it looks like they are crashing under the texture. I have rtx gpu, I've uninstalled game and reinstalled, still getting same problems and it's stock game with dlc. The game is unplayable with this bug, I've got over 100 hours of game play so I know this shouldn't be happening while kerbal is just walking around. Same happens if I go rcs and fly with kerbol on mun, fly for one min then poof dead, not crashed into anything.
Please help.

Did you delete the KSP folder after uninstalling it? Uninstalling can still leave files behind
