"Tidy up debris" option breaks UI functionality

Description
Upon receiving the 1.12 update multiple basic, crucial UI functions break when this option is left on. The tracking station can no longer be accessed on any save file (from either space center view or the escape menu) of a particular campaign even with all flights in stable orbits and experiencing no acceleration.
The "Quit to main menu" button also does not function.
Research and Development facility can be accessed, but cannot be left.
Disabling "Tidy up debris cluttering KSC" option restores normal functionality

I just cant seem to be able to replicate it for some reason. At least not yet

And when I tell them to disable "Tidy up debris cluttering KSC" it works like a charm
