Description

When first starting up without the ~/.config/unity3d/Squad/Kerbal Space Program/perfs file unity tries to create it, but it's resolution detection is not consistent and sometimes it will generate junk resolutions like 1x0 which makes it so unity can't start therefore KSP can't start. Restarting doesn't help once the file is created with bad data, since then it seems to use the file, it has to be deleted and the game restarted in a cycle until the detection works, or edited to sane values and then the game can start up.

On a second note if the screen starts up with a too small resolution the pop-up that asks about tracking on first startup can be spawned of screen, and until that pop-up is dismissed one cannot enter the settings menu to increase the resolution so the pop-up is visible. Adding some sanity checks there and moving the pop-up when the screen resolution is too small would be a good idea.

This is a known Unity3D bug, sorry, the Unity3D game engine is not made by Squad.
