Transfering Crew deletes Crew Pictures

Description
It's not a gamebreaking bug, but very annoying and led to some problems in a modded install. So I took it to stock and low-and-behold even a simple two pod craft triggers it. That is, using the right click menu "Transfer Crew" button. I am unsure if it is a windows only problem. The log produces no errors or any log whatsoever pertaining to the transferring of crew.
Note: in the output log you can see I tried multiple configurations of pods, and it doesn't matter what pod you use, transferring crew deletes the crew pictures, and a vessel update(such as docking) will refresh them.
