Description

It would be nice to be able to quit to the desktop from within a game. Right now, I have to quit to the main menu, then press back, then click quit to quit to the desktop. It's a mild inconvenience but rather annoying to spend half a minute quitting KSP!

You need to return to KSC to have the progress saved. After that, you can safely close the application using appropriate keyboard shortcut or other method available in your OS.
