Kerbal Space Program

I was testing a rocket/Lander on the launch pad and made my kerbal EVA then climb the ladder until he fell to the ground. After the Kerbal hit the ground the screen turned into the star map. Kerbin is gone, pressing M does nothing except show the Map tools, Lower left corner. Pressed ESC and reverted to VAB and that was fine but when I try anything else outside, Launch or Exit from VAB the graphics return To the Star Map.

I rebooted the game and now all games are Star maps from start. The game is no longer playable. I can not see KSP or any of its buildings, Clicking randomly does nothing.
