Bug #494
Selecting individual docking ports just selects the root part.
100%
Description
The Issue
When selecting a docking port as the docking target the port is not selected, instead only the root part of the target is selected.
Reproduction
When docking, select any available docking port as the docking target, the target indicator and range readout will default to the root part only.
Try selecting another port, and the target will not change, it will remain on the root part and not select the docking port.
Provided is a scenario file with a small station and multiple ports, and an RCS shuttle craft, undock the craft and attempt to target on of the ports, the target selection will not move from the landercan root part.
Implication
This issue, though minor, does complicate docking and renders the option to target a docking port unusable.
Notes
No unusual output to the log.

Testing
Tested with the .sfs attached and a fresh install of .19.1.
Results
Regardless of which docking port on the central structure is selected, the green crosshair and distance remain fixed on a point near the bottom of the Landercan object. I was unable to determine if this was also the center of mass of the station.
However, it should be noted that the targeting reticle on the navball changes correctly to point at the targeted docking port. I was able to successfully dock on a docking port on one of the arms using the navball for guidance.
Suggestion
This should be sent to a feature request wherein the green crosshair would point at the center of geometry of the part targeted, not the root part or center of mass of the ship as a whole.
