Flag pole inexplicably explodes a few kilometers away

Description
A flag pole I had placed on Duna spontaneously exploded roughly 6.2 km away as I was driving my rover away from it. The mission log says that it collided into the terrain.

Updated by I placed a second flag near the spot where the rover was when the first flag exploded. The second flag exploded as well after driving the rover back to the original flag's location. The message this time was that the flag crashed into Duna.
