Bug #3921
Pressing "enter" in save dialog cancels saving
100%
Description
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, Kerbal Space Program v0.90.0.705 32-bit with no mods/addons via Steam
Steps to reproduce:
1) Start KSP
2) Resume a career game
3) At the main Space Center screen hit ESC to bring up menu
4) Choose "Save game..."
5) (optional) In the "Quicksave as..." window that appears, edit the pre-populated filename, or just...
6) Press "enter" on keyboard.
Expected behavior: game would be saved to filename shown, white "Quicksaving..." text would momentarily appear in the lower right part of the screen
Actual behavior: "Quicksave as..." window closes, no feedback, game is not saved
This behavior results in user data loss and probably violates several Geneva conventions on UI design. After several "disappearing" savefiles and hours of gameplay progress lost, I started watching my "saves" directory, initially thinking I may have been using illegal characters in the filename.

KSP appears to depart from the convention of using enter/return to commit changes in several areas including this one.
This will be forwarded to the developers for attention.

This is still present in version 1.0.2 and just cost me seven hours of gameplay. Can the priority please be increased?

This appears to be fixed in 1.1.3 on Linux 64-bit: pressing Enter removes focus from the text box, leaving the dialog open so the user can click on Save. Leaving this bug as Updated since I can't test on Windows.

Checked in Linux and Windows.
Marking as resolved.
