Description

Hello,

I'm encountering severe FPS drop since i changed my graphic card for an ATI HD 5850 (1Go). I have smooth FPS but like every 20-30 seconds it totally freezes during 3-4 seconds. This happens in both subspae and space, at any time, anywhere.
My graphic settings are at the very minimum and i tested the game with several drivers, from old ones to the most recents. I have not encountered this kind of problem in any other game i usually play with since i'm still able to play at medium settings with most recent games (Arma 3 for example).
Same thing happens either in 32 or 64 bits.

Other specs : Windows 7,8Go RAM, I7 870 OC.

Alfred,

Can you attach a copy of your DXDiag log to this report? To get the report, click on Start and type dxdiag in the search bar then hit Enter. Once it is running, click on the Save All Information button along the bottom right and it will process everything into a text file called DxDiag.txt. That is the file to attach.

What other programs/processes are you running at the same time?

Well, i just made a fresh install, but not only, i upgraded from the HD 5850 to an ATI R9 290, and... The problem still occurs ! To be more specific, prior i had a NVIDIA 570 GTX, everything was working, no freezes, no nothing.
Also i had no mods running for my tests.

Here is the dxdiag and my list of processes currently running.
