Bug #3162
Game interferes with system wide user input, right click does not display context menu.
0%
Description
When task switching or running the game in windowed mode, control of the entire system is disrupted to varying degrees in various programs.
-Chrome tabs cannot be clicked.
-Firefox tabs cannot be clicked.
-Safari tabs work fine for some reason (probably aliens).
-Right and left click are both bound to right click, both bound to left click, reversed or sometimes one or the other is completely non functional.
-Alt+tab task switching is disrupted or does not work.
-Drag and drop file moving is disrupted, does not work, or sometimes drops to the wrong location.
-Basically attempting to multitask is very annoying.
Game version: 0.24.2 64 bit
~system specs= Windows 7 x64, Intel HD4000, i7 3610QM, 8GB.
Steps to reproduce bug: Clean install with no mods or saves and either A: run in windowed mode or B: Run in fullscreen mode and switch out. Don't need to start a game, issue will appear as soon as the game is loaded although will appear to varying degrees of severity, and is seemingly random in its manifestations.
It also appears to be related to the bug in game whereby right clicking on parts does not always bring up the parts context menu and sometimes requires 30 clicks to display the menu.
A similar bug appears to have been mentioned on reddit here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/2b52kb/024_64bit_issues/
and here: http://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/2b84h3/ksp_x64_bit_right_click_issue/
But I can't find it in the bug tracker for version 0.24.2 so I wanted to raise the issue again just to let everyone know it's still here.
I consider it a major issue as it means that I can't play KSP at work without getting busted when the boss walks past and alt+tab fails to work.
Does not seem to occur with the 32 bit version.

I have similar issues, although I can often fix things by rightclicking something outside of KSP once.
I only have this issue in the Windows x64 build. Oh, and I run in windowed mode.

The developers are aware of this issue, and it is being investigated.
To work around the problem for now, a simple right click anywhere in the KSP window will reset the right mouse button to normal behaviour outside. Alternatively, a double right click on the desktop will also reset it.
