Crash on startup

Description
KSP won't start since today (last played two days ago on 30 July). I'm running the steam version on Windows. The first time I tried to launch the game, it crashed, but all subsequent times it just hangs indefinitely and doesn't even finish rendering the frame. Attached dump from the one and only actual crash.
Things I have tried:
- Verified integrity of game cache
- Deleted content and re-loaded from steam

This needs more info. What are the specs of the computer, the EXACT version of the game, Win64 KSP?, modded or unmodded, and these are just examples.
