Kerbal Space Program

(This is all platforms, all versions) In the tech tree view of the R&D center, if you have a couple of the larger parts packs like like KW Rocketry and B9 Aerospace installed after you've unlocked all of the nodes, the parts list can run beyond the available space on the right side of the screen. Researching a part returns the part list to the top. This is annoying: Scroll, research, (part list returns to top) scroll again, research item, lather, rinse, repeat.

I have a 1920x1200 screen. If the parts list were scaled to cover the maximum amount of vertical height available, minus the "required research" badges (in all honesty, one of the two required is enough to open a node, and you can't see the contents without having researched one of the previous nodes anyway, why bother showing them in the unlocked state?) and the research this node button, I could fit all of those parts on the screen without scrolling. (See picture.)

• Only show the "required research nodes" if the node is locked but not hidden.
• When the node is fully unlocked, scale the height of the parts list as much as possible, minus padding for other UI components.

• Stop returning the parts list to the top, or,
• Include a "Buy all (NNNNN funds)" button. (basically performing the same function as the the initial "research this node" button does)
  Whichever you see fit, though doing all four would fix the issue and make the R&D aspect vastly less painful for people who mod extensively (and future-proof it for when x64 gets stabilized and people start trying every parts pack known to man.)
