Kerbal Space Program

If you have a craft and take out all the parts you can with an engineer, the root part is highighted as it should but it cannot be placed, clicking on it in part placement mode does nothing, if you try to rotate or move it it clips through the floor and explodes.

There is an example save in the attechment. Needs to open the debug menu and lower the gravity to be able to move the parts with the engineer.
