Bug #27037
Inconsistencies in crewable part context menus after a crew transfer
0%
Description
In release 1.11, a new section has been added in the crewable parts context menu, reporting the crew list and the inventory. This list is not updated after a crew transfer.
To reproduce:
1) have a vessel constituted by two (or more) parts with crew capacity (fig. 1 Bob, Richus and Lanfred are in the Hitchhiker Storage Container. The Mk1-3 command pod is empty).
2) move a kerbal from part A to part B. After the transfer, the kerbal name and inventory will appear in the context menus of both the origin and target parts. Despite this, the kerbal has been actually transferred, and he is not available for further transfer A -> B. Other crew members' name may occasionally be moved in the context menu (fig. 2: after moving Bob to the Mk1-3 command pod, his name is appearing in the the crew lists of the hitchhiker container and the Mk1-3 module. However, Bob is no longer available in the transfer pop-up window (fig.3). The name of Lanfred has become the last item in the hitchhicker container context menu.
3) moving other kerbal produce similar results (fig. 4: After moving Richus, his name is in both the hitchhiker container and the Mk1-3 pod context menus)
4) leaving the ship solves the error. Lanfred goes EVA (fig 5, context menus still bugged), correct context menus upon Lanfred re-boarding (fig 6).
