Description
Formerly, fairings and service bays and cargo bays would shield separate craft within them from aerodynamic forces and heat.
This behaviour allowed
1) recovery of loose parts and Kerbals https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/189118-*/
