Bug #23904
Mouse wheel direction inverted
10%
Description
Using the mouse wheel in KSP 1.8 has the opposite of the usual and expected effect, in both scrolling in menus and in zooming the camera.
This was definitely not the case in KSP 1.7.3, which I was using as recently as 3 days ago. I have also not changed any mouse settings in my OS, and my mouse wheel scrolls in the usual and expected direction in all other programs.
Ubuntu 19.04

A hotfix - reported by JimmyR in https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/188955-mouse-wheel-in-reverse/ - is to change "scale = 1
" to "scale = -1
" in the settings.cfg
under "AXIS_MOUSEWHEEL
"
This works for me (Ubuntu 18.04, Steam version of KSP) in the actual game, but not in the lists in the settings menu. It does show up as negative "Mouse Wheel Sensitivity" in the "Controllers" -> "Mouse" section of the settings menu.

I am experiencing this bug after updating to v1.12.0 (Linux).

I also have this bug in XUbuntu 20.04.2 LTS, KSP 1.12 version 3140.
Setting scale=-1 helps for zooming in VAB but scrolling down in dialogs still fails. (VAB -> Open -> Scroll down scrolls the list up).

Same for me. Hopefully we get a fix soon. Maybe it would be possible to add a general checkbox "Invert Mousewheel" into the settings, so that everytime this issue occurs, you can simply switch the checkbox on/off...
