Bug #13333
Orientation of Decoupler changed during flight
0%
Description
Normally my orbital rocket works fine and has done a good job in transporting tourists into orbit.
But:
My upper stage (MK1 Com Pod + Chutes and Heatshield) separates in the wrong direction after EVA in orbit over Kerbin.
After reboarding of a Kerbonaut, the physical effect switches it's orientation: It doesn't point into the direction indicated by the arrows but the opposite - leaving my reentry stage over while the Com Pod starts its infite journey into open space!
Result: After EVA there is no chance to get Kerbonauts savely back to Kerbin - which is even more relevant in Career Mode, where every replaced Kerbonaut costs lots of money whilst gathering science by EVA-activities is impossible.
Obviously it is not a matter of misconstruction as this occurs only after EVA. Orbiting without EVA avoids the problem.
The behaviour could be reproduced constantly and was tested with the Windows-Client - perhaps someone can double check if other platforms might be affected as well.
