Description

On Xubuntu 16.10 (Kernel 4.8.0), KSP freezes at unpredictable moments. Sometimes, I get stuck in the "Settings" (after accessing it from the main menu), sometime it freezes when loading the game, sometime it freezes in-flight, sometime it freezes in the VAB... KSP is still open, but I can't do anything (no clicks, no keys are working). The only way is to open a terminal and kill KSP from there.

Launch options: LC_ALL=C command_64

Update: When launching the KSP executable

/home/myusername/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program/KSP.x86_64

from the terminal - circumventing the Steam app - KSP never crashes, and runs fine.
