When you start the launcher and go to the settings pane, apply and accept buttons do not work.

Updated by Hi jensgw, the buttons are working, please try reinstalling KSP and if the issue persists open a thread on the support forum ad we will try to solve your issue, thank you.

On further examination with the help of jensgw it has been found that the settings.cfg is missing from a new install, which breaks the launcher.
